CECIL LEE ROSS, 87, of Huntington, died Saturday, October 29, 2016, in Wyngate at Rivers Edge, Proctorville. Funeral service will be conducted at noon Tuesday November 1, 2016, at Apostolic Life Cathedral, with Pastor Edwin S. Harper officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Cecil was born February 25, 1929, in Mize, Miss. She is a daughter of the late Leno and Nonnie Johnson Smith. She was a life member of The Apostolic Life Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Nathan Ross; three brothers, Buss, Dub and Charles Smith; and one sister, Dot Andrisky. Survivors include one daughter, Diane Ross of Charleston, W.Va.; one son, Randy (Robin) Ross of Proctorville; three grandchildren, Rebecca (Darryn) Norton of Dickinson, Texas, Jami Stevenson of Proctorville, Tyler Ross of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Bobbi Blackburn of Jackson, Miss., and Lindell (Cleve) Brewer of Brandon, Miss. The family would like to thank Phyllis Gillespie for all the extra care and love she gave our Mom and also all the help given from Robin Ross. Also, a thank you to special friend Linda Carter Bias.
