So sorry to hear of Cheryl's passing. Although I didn't get the chance to know her well since my return, our families were connected by long-term friendships. The fact animated my appreciation of her. I came to respect her as a person, community member, and attorney. My deepest condolences to the family.

Without a doubt, Cheryl was one of my mentors and role models in the practice of law. She was an indeed an advocate's advocate, and she will be sorely missed.
