Darrell Porter Obituary


DARRELL RAY PORTER 49, of Lavalette, WV, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on Friday, August 29, 2025. He was born on March 16, 1976 in Huntington, WV.
He was preceded in death by his mother Lora Porter.
Darrell was a mechanic, always had to be tinkering with cars, he loved building model cars as a hobby and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years Melissa Porter; two sons Raymond (Melanie) Jackson and Hunter Jackson; father Kenneth Porter Sr.; brothers Kenneth (Mary Ann) Porter; Okley (Bekah) Porter; Cody (Amanda) Porter; two special nieces Angel Drakes and Zoey Scott; and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
