David Maynard Obituary
DAVID K. MAYNARD, age 79 of Macedonia, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was born in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Albert Sydney and Myrtle Mae (nee Gibson) Maynard.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Carole Sue and several brothers and sisters.
He was the loving father of six children, Denise Maynard, Tammy (Mike) Edmonds, Dusty (Emily) Maynard, Amanda (Robert) Olschlager, Jessica (Brandon) Marcelewski, and Dave Maynard; cherished Papaw of nine grandchildren, Destiny, Quinn (Matt), Tino, Sarah, Aliza, Rory, Matthew, Dallas, and Reed; caring Pappy to Rielynn Jean and Callum John, with another great granddaughter arriving in September; a brother to Steve (Susan) Maynard, and had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Dave proudly worked for the Chicago Transit Authority for over 25 years. He loved his family, western shows, Fantasy Football, and old country music. Dave will be forever loved and dearly missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends 3-5 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Busch-Romito Funeral Home, 99 West Aurora Road, Northfield Center, Ohio (330) 468-1443. www.buschcares.com

You were my best friend and mentor. You and Sue left a great legacy with all your beautiful children. You will live on. Can´t ask for more than that because it is always what we hope for in life.
