DAVID SPITTLER Obituary
DAVID WAYNE SPITTLER, 58, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015, at his residence. He was born May 16, 1957, in Webster County, West Virginia, a son of the late Ora Ollen and Lana Beatrice Hammons Spittler. A brother also preceded him in death. He was a laborer. Survivors include his companion and her family Ruby Roberts of Apple Grove, W.Va., and her daughter and son-in-law Whitney and Daryl Metcalf of Sabrook, Ohio. He was dearly loved by his family and friends. A private memorial service will be at a later date. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family. www.chapmans-mortuary.com.

I hadn't spoke to Dave in many many years. This picture of him touches my heart. He looks very happy and enjoying life. His mom would have loved that smile! May he rest in peace.

Dave as I called him was a friend of mine who I met at Vanity Fair in downtown Huntington. I used to stop by his apt occasionally and chit chat with him and some of his friends. He was a great person and had a lot of knowledge and wisdom. He loved his race car driving and motorcycles and would always have a story to tell. He will be missed by a lot of people.
