DOLLY MEADOWS Obituary
DOLLY MEADOWS, 87, of Culloden, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Cornerstone Hospital of Huntington. She was born June 5, 1928, in Putnam County, W.Va., a daughter of the late W. Arnold and Glenna Marie Sovine. She was also preceded in death by her husband R.D. "Cotton" Meadows; a son R.D. Meadows Jr. "Ricky"; and three brothers. Mrs. Meadows was a member of Hurricane First Church of God. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lana and David Easter of Milton and Lynn and Larry Roberts of Culloden; three grandchildren, Michelle (Doug) Maxey, Travis (Tracy) Berry and Zachary (Kelsi) Roberts; three great-grandchildren, Drew Maxey, Addison Roberts and Liam Roberts; and one brother, Dempsey Sovine of Culloden. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2015, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Hurricane, W.Va. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to funeral services. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.heckfuneralhome.com.
