Douglas Chapman Obituary
DOUGLAS O'NEAL CHAPMAN, 79, of Milton, WV, went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2025, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born November 16, 1945, in Salt Rock, WV, son of the late Hansel Waldo Chapman and Dolly Bailey Chapman. He was also preceded in death by daughter Misty Chapman; brothers Darell Chapman and Ivan Chapman; and sisters Polly Chapman, Freda White, Barbara Spears, and Phyllis Cummings. He is survived by his wife Sandra Templeton Chapman; three children, Tonya (Roger) King, Christy (Chris) Black, and Mark (Kim) Chapman; grandchildren Amber (Joey) Jude, Courtney (Caleb) Shafer, Gracie Black, Avery Black, and Theron Chapman; and great-grandchildren Gia Jude, Camille Jude, Finley Shafer, and Kason Shafer. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Greg Lunsford. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
