I just found out of George and Eddie's passing.
She was a sweet, caring, Christian lady who helped everyone in need or just a listening board. I met her when she rented a house from my Mom and Dad many years ago. We tried to keep in touch over the years and I cherished those times. She was the same person every time you met her. I'm saddened by hearing of George and Eddie's passing but know she's rejoicing with her Lord and Savior and family. Rest now sweet lady.

I always remember Edie with a smile on her face and a task at hand. I remember how happy my Uncle George was when he was with her, how happy he was to have a family. She was a wonderful caregiver and I feel blessed to have known her. She will be missed.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of my dear friend Edie. I knew her from the village , where I was a volunteer in the activity department. I will miss her when I return to the home, she was so much fun to be with. I loved her! Sandy Freeman (in Florida).

Edie always had a smile on her face. She was my first landlord. Her and George provided me with an apartment and I have a lot of fond memories of us setting out on the porch and giggling. She helped me plant flowers and clean my little space. She gave me comfort when needed and I will never forget her and her generosity.

Sending my love and prayers to the family Aunt Edie was always a loving and caring person. I have many fond memories as a child coming to visit and staying with Jenny and Aunt Edie was always smiling. The last time I got to see her in person was when she came to visit Jenny in Florida, it was so great to visit, see her smile and hear her laugh again. FB gave me a few more years of contact with her and I'm grateful for that.
