Edna Clagg Obituary
EDNA LUCILLE CLAGG, 86, of Huntington, WV, died Thursday January 2, 2025, at her residence.
Funeral service will be conducted at noon Tuesday January 7, 2025, at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Tracey Lobaldo officiating.
Burial will be in Lafayette Meadows Cemetery, Mason County, WV.
Edna was born October 2, 1938, in Glenwood, WV a daughter of the late James Sardine & Nellie Christy Holley.
She graduated from Hannan High School in 1957, retired from Green Acres and was a member of the Trinty Church of God.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Richard Lewis Clagg, two sisters, Virginia Hurlbut & Addie Fry and one brother, Homer Holley.
Survivors include her daughter, Debora (Ken) Lam of Huntington, one granddaughter, Miranda (Shelby) Tucci of Medina, TN, three great grandchildren, Tristan, Kate & Harper Tucci, and two special friends, Sharon Horn & Clayton Hicks.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.chapmans-mortuary.com.

I had the privilege of working with Edna and Dick at Green Acres for many years. Edna was a gentle champion for the special population we served. Edna had a giant heart and a beautiful smile. And most importantly, she made a difference to those around her.
She loved her family fiercely and spoke of them often. I know she will be missed.
