Edward Hibner Obituary
EDWARD LEE HIBNER, loving husband, father and PawPaw, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 18, 2025. He was born January 17, 1946, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Clarence and Helen Gilpin Hibner. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Diana Hibner; one son, Travis Hibner and by one brother, Larry Hibner. He was retired from Special Metals as a Metallurgist with numerous publications and awards in the alloy industry. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was also a member of the Minerva Lodge No.13, AF&AM, Barboursville. He is survived by two sons, Timothy Hibner (Tricia) and Brandon Hibner (Jerica); one daughter, Megan Fuellhart (Sean); one brother, Roger Hibner; four grandchildren, Walker Fuellhart, Isley Hibner, Jovie Hibner and Jakin Hibner; special friend Benita Simpson; and a loyal K-9, Anna. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Pastor Paul Boekell officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
