ELAINE BLAKE Obituary
ELAINE SUE BLAKE, "Sissie," 66, of Lesage, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at her residence. She was born June 16, 1950, in Huntington, a daughter of the late James and Mary Jo Partlow Gibson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Gibson and Delbert Gibson. She is survived by her husband, Brent Blake; two daughters, Tiffany Welch (Trevor) and Tina Ray (Dennis); one sister, Marie Peters (Mike); seven grandchildren, Bailey Welch, Logan Welch, Samuel Welch, Elaina Ellixson, Tia Knight, Kenna Ray and Emilee Ray; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Church In The Valley with Dr. Stan Maynard and Pastor Troy Nicely officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to service at the church. Entombment will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Elaine you were a very good friend. We all had are ups and downs. But you have two beautiful girls, and look very pretty . may god love and keep you close. To Tiffany and Tina, so sad to here of her passing. She was a nice girl.

TIFFANY AND TINA I AM SO SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR MOM, I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOUR MOM FOR THE GOOD TIMES WE SHARED AND I REMEMBER HER POEMS SHE WROTE SHE WAS SO GOOD AT IT I HOPE YOU BOTH HAVE SOME OF THEM TO SHARE WITH YOUR CHILDREN SHE COULD BE SO FUNNY SOMETIMES. I OFTEN WONDER WHY SHE NEVER WROTE A BOOK OF THEM SHE HAD BAD TIMES AND GOOD TIMES IN HER LIFE BUT THAT IS WHAT GOD GIVES US TO STRENGHTEN OUR LIVES I PRAYED FOR HER WHEN TINA TOLD ME BACK MONTHS AGO ABOUT HER ILLNESS AND I PRAYED SHE WOULD NOT SUFFER, THE REST WAS IN GODS HANDS AND NOW I PRAY SHE WAS AT PEACE WITH HIM WHEN SHE PASSED.
