EMMA ALBERTA WHITE HALL

1918 - 2016

EMMA ALBERTA WHITE HALL was born October 7, 1918, and went home to be with family on November 2, 2016. She was 98 years old. Emma was the third child born to Ira and May White (Mom and Pop) of Culloden, who preceded her in death. She now joins her son, Billy Ray Hall; her brothers and sisters (and their spouses), Ira Clifford White, Arguerite Handley, Glen White, Donna Rosemarie "Rose" Schwesig Forsyth, Bob White, Billie Claire Rappold, Phyllis "Chilk" Sabree, who have been waiting for her. She is survived by her baby sister, Pauline "Pooch" Sunderland of Ona. Her two grandchildren, of whom she was very proud, also survive her, Frank Lee Hall and his wife Tara and their two children, Kurt and Shyane, and Tammie Silva and her son Troy of Huntington. Many, many nieces and nephews, great- and great-great-nieces will miss her in death but have also missed her for many years as Alzheimer's slowly stole her from us. Emma was also "Nanna" to a very special great-niece, Odana Lee Chaney, who was the light of her life. "Time takes everything. I'm forever sorry that time took you long before death did. I loved you even when you didn't know me." OLC. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2016, Milton United Methodist Church, Milton, with Rev. Lynn Cartwright officiating. Burial will follow in Culloden Cemetery, Culloden. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by Handley Funeral Home, Danville, W.Va.
