ESTA EPLING, 100, daughter of Hezekiah Watts and Naoma Josephine Adkins went home to be with Jesus on January 18, 2025. She was born at Stiltner, WV, on November 5, 1924. Preceding her in death was her husband, James Lucian Epling, brothers Charlie Watts, Elmer Watts, Cumberland Watts, Henry Watts, Johnnie Watts and Cain Dingess Jr., sisters Dorothy Napier, Alberta Adkins, Mary Napier and Bessie Watts, and a great- great-grandson, Gunner Arnold. She is survived by daughters Donna Lucas and Gloria Hall, both of Lavalette, WV, sisters Opal Hatfield Napier of Wayne, WV, and Lora Jean Hartman of Florida, and a special niece, Patricia Tooley; grandchildren Kimberly Hale (Chuck), Kelli Arnold, both of Lavalette, Angela Diamond (Ryan) of Ceredo, WV, Gregory Hall (JoAnna) of Lavalette, Arthur Arnold of Wayne, Dawn Lucas of Seattle, WA, and Gregory Rodriguez of California; great-grandchildren Cody Mills (Carmelita) of Georgia, Austin Mills (Jessie) of Wayne, Quinn Diamond of Ceredo, Jennifer McFann (Chris) of Lesage, WV, Joshua Artis (Denae) of Lavalette, Kaitlyn Arnold of Lexington, KY, Zoey Adkins of Lavalette, James Arnold (Megan) of Indiana, Melissa Conley (Clay) of Illinois, Ryan and Sierra Hall of Lavalette and Colten (Jaden) Hall of Cincinnati, OH; great- great-grandchildren, Elijah, Joseph, Noah, Ezekiel, Maile Mills, all of Georgia, Maddie and Case Mills, both of Wayne, Karson and Kynlee Artis, both of Lavalette, Lylian Oehler (Zach), Blayden, Eden, Ellie, Max, and Silas Arnold, all of Indiana, Ocean, Oscar, Olivia, Odessa, Opal, Oakley, and Ozzie Conley, all of Illinois. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Michael Dillon and Danny Krantz officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Wayne. Visitation will be held from noon until service time at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne.
