GARY BIRD Obituary
GARY FREDERICK BIRD, 76, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Art Hage. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born March 14, 1939 in Huntington, a son of the late Jehu and Mary Smith Bird. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Michael F. Bird. He is survived by his wife Dianne Lee Bird; two sons, Jeffrey Bird and his wife Darla and Jerry Bird; two sisters, Sarah M. Bird and Janice Meeks; three grandchildren, David L. Bird, Michael A. Bird and Alycia N. Bird; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
