Gilbert Kiser Obituary
MR. GILBERT MARSHALL KISER, 81, went to be with his loving Savior on October 21, 2025. He was born March 27, 1944, in Hubball, WV. He was a member of the Camp Branch United Baptist Church for 51 years in which he served as Deacon for 36 of those years.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy Watts Kiser, parents George and Georgia Mae Kiser, Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Willis and Lorene, Nick and Faye, Jerry and Mattie, Johnny and Loretta, Doug and Ann Kiser, Brothers Harold and Billy Kiser, Sisters Jennifer White and Joanette Hoover.
Surviving are Marshall and Judy's 3 children, Angela Kiser, Kevin (Sandy) Kiser, and Kristie Kiser, 1 grandson/son RJ (Tangela) Jennings, 3 granddaughters/daughters Brittney (Thomas) Smith and Hailee and Judee Kiser, and 1 very special granddaughter Kayla (Sammy) Kiser. 3 great-granddaughters Abbey and Ariah Smith, and Madi Jennings, 2 great-grandsons, Tanner Jennings and Ayden Smith, 1 sister Ann (Dennis) Tabor, 2 brothers-in-law Terry White and Rick Hoover, and 5 sisters- in-law Joanna Kiser, Pauline (Chris) Tinkham, Patsy Chambers, Betty McComas, and Linda (Charles) Mesler, and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
If you were given a nickname, you were very special to him. If he taught you in Sunday School or coached you on a ball team, he loved you like his own.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Camp Branch United Baptist Church, Branchland, WV, with Kevin Kiser officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Branchland, WV. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2025, at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV.

I remember as a very young child I would walk to church with an elderly lady that lived up the road from camp branch church she was our neighbor and when I came into the church Marshall would be singing in the choir singing I Feel like Traveling On I remember looking up to him then and I always looked up to him he was a wonderful man if God sending love and prayers to his family
