HAROLD ROSE Obituary
DR. HAROLD ROSE, 87, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 in St. Mary's Medical Center. Harold was born December 4, 1927, in Poland, a son of the late Louis and Helen Rose. At a young age, his family moved to Fairmont, W.Va. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Joan. Dr. Rose was owner of Valley Center For Vision and a practicing Optometrist for the last 60 years. Survivors include three children, daughter Eileen Rose, son Stevan Rose and his wife Deborah, and son Howard Rose; three grandchildren, Brittany Green, Caleena Rose and Shannon Rose; three great-grandchildren, Kylelin Green, Raiden Green and Easton Ewald; one surviving sister, Marcia Cohen of California. He was very loving and generous man who loved his work and his patients. He showed that by continuing working until last week. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2015, by Rabbi David E. Wucher at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, which will be private. Family guestbook at www.klingelcarpenter.com.

Harold was a kind and loving man. He started me in the optical business in 1982 and I stayed in it for 15 years. And no matter how long I was gone I was always welcomed back like I had never left. I will miss you Doc.
