Hazel Gue Obituary
HAZEL IRENE GUE, 92, of Branchland, WV, passed away July 20, 2025. She was born April 24, 1933, in West Hamlin, WV, daughter of the late Gordon and Mary Simpkins Adkins.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Herman Eugene Gue, son Timothy Dwayne Gue, two grandchildren Heather Renee Clay and Michael Scott Adkins, sons-in-law Billy Joe Wiley, Ralph Morgan and Terry Adkins.
She is survived by five daughters Dona Wiley of Branchland, Anita Wiley (Roger) of Catlettsburg, KY, Arita Morgan of Branchland, Sheila Riggle (Dwayne) of Branchland, and Andrea Adkins of Branchland; one son Terry Allan Gue (Nancy) of Branchland; daughter- in-law Tena Gue of Branchland; one brother Cecil Adkins of Branchland; nine grandchildren Heath, Todd, Trysten, Brandi, Tiffany, Brittany, Cody, Ally, and Sandra; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Jody Thompson and Pastor Jason McComas. Burial will be in Gordon Adkins Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Hazel "Granny" Gue was such a beautiful person, She was loved by all who knew her and helped those in need of simple conversation. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will now be blessed forever next to the lord and her beloved Gene.
