JANET SUE "POMPY" WOODARD, 66, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014, at King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland. She was born October 3, 1947, in Lawrence County, Ohio, to the late Arnold and Tomma Lewis. She is survived by two children, Carole Wilson of Columbus, Ohio, and Scott Wilson of Scottown, Ohio; four grandchildren, Whitney Daniels, Jeffery Wilson, Brandi Wilson and Adam Wilson; one great-grandson, Branson Holland; one brother; and two sisters. She retired as a court bailiff at the Lawrence County Courthouse and was a member of the Red Hat Society (The Sassy Old Broads). Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Randy Thompson. Burial will follow in Perkins Ridge Cemetery, Willow Wood, Ohio. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at the funeral home.
