JEFFREY BRIGGS Obituary
JEFFREY A. BRIGGS, 53, of Hudson, Florida, formerly of Barboursville, passed away on September 20, 2018, after an extended illness. Jeff was born January 15, 1965, in Colonial Heights, Virginia, to Evan and Rosalea (Persinger) Briggs. He was a 1983 graduate of Barboursville High School where he was a member of the high school band. He moved to Florida where he retired from Orange County as a Corrections Officer and then worked as a Code Enforcement Officer with Pasco County. Jeff is survived by his wife of 28 years, Tambra (Colvin) Briggs; his daughters, Rabeka and Erica; his granddaughter and light of his life, Kyleigh; his mother, Rosalea; his brothers, James (Toni) and Jerry (Jill); and a host of friends. Jeff was a wonderful son, friend, husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, September 29, at 2 p.m. at the Dobie Funeral Home in Hudson, Fla.
