Keith Ridgeway Obituary
Keith attended Cabell County schools, where he was a member of the football and track teams before graduating from Huntington High School. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. He enlisted in the Navy and upon discharge, he enrolled in Marshall University while working part time at WSAZ television, and later form West Virginia State College (University), with a B.A. Degree. He moved to Maryland where he became employed as a government contractor with SAIC as Senior IT Engineer.
Well-known as DJ "Mix Master," Keith earned most of his extra money as a DJ at parties, weddings, and school functions. He was also a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity of which he took very seriously and held the brotherhood close to his heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond I. Ridgeway. He is survived by his wife, Leslie Taul Ridgeway, his mother, Sylvia C. Ridgeway, brothers Raymond Troy (Vanessa), Bryan Edward, and sister Shelly Beth, nieces Clark and Carsyn Betz, nephews Branden and Tory Ridgeway, and a special aunt, Norita Harris and a host of other friends.
Funeral services will be held at Reid Temple AME Church, 11400 Glenn Dale Boulevard, Glenn Dale, Maryland, 20760 at 11 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in honor of Keith Ridgeway.

For me, the departure of my friend so soon has been unexpected and sad. In spite of the sadness, I have fond memories of our times together studying IT and playing music. Although we did not talk or visit one another often, I miss you already. Every conversation and every moment of interaction with you was pleasant for me.
