Leanna Artrip Obituary


LEANNA LEE ARTRIP, 58 of Lavalette, WV, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Monday, October 13, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Jason Ross. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Annex.
She was born June 8, 1967 in Circleville, OH, a daughter of the late Sharon Carter. Leanna was a homemaker and attended New Beginnings Church.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Jean Carter; her grandparents, Paul and Eula Carter; and father-in-law, Larry Artrip.
Survivors include her husband, Christopher Artrip; three daughters, Jessy Hallam (Mike) of San Antonio, TX, Carrie Broce (Charles) of Huntington, WV, Taylor Thompson (Jason) of Lavalette, WV; a son, Thomas Artrip (Kelsey Forth) of Lavalette, WV; seven grandchildren, Allysen Sparks, Trinity Leftwich, Aiden Broce, Lane Thompson, Wyatt Thompson, Myles Hallam and Arya Hallam.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, WV.
