LOIS ANN KLEIN SLONE, 84, of Danville, Ky., formerly of Ashland, widow of Freddie R. Slone, died Oct. 10. She retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Funeral service will be noon Thursday, Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue Chapel, Ashland; burial following in Ashland Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours before service at the funeral home. Donations are suggested to Boyle County Public Library or Operation Christmas Child. www.steenfuneralhome.com.
