MABEL COOPER Obituary

MABEL ANN COOPER, 90, of St. Albans, W.Va., passed away Friday, August 22, 2014, at Teays Valley Center, Hurricane. She was born May 9, 1924, in St. Albans, W.Va., to the late Ludwell and Mabel Smithson Bibb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alton B. Cooper; and 10 siblings. She was a member of First Church of God-Highlawn, St. Albans, W.Va. She is survived by four children, Carolyn (Jack) Blankenship, Alton (Wanda) Cooper, Joseph (Roberta) Cooper and Donald (Winifred) Cooper; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted noon Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice or Gideons International.
