MABLE LOUISE KLEIN

MABLE LOUISE KLEIN, age 94, passed away on 22 March 2018, at her residence in Proctorville, Ohio. She was born on 29 May 1923, in Kingston, W.Va., daughter of the late Harvey Benton Powers and Josie Myrtle Fisher Powers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Arnold P. Powers and Harvey B. Powers Jr., a sister, Lorine B. Levine, former spouse, Frederick W. Klein, and grandson, Scott Maple. She is survived by three sons and their wives, John F. Klein and Jenny of Oak Hill, Ohio, Joseph W. Klein and Debra of Proctorville, Ohio, and James M. Klein and Joy of South Point, Ohio. Additionally, she is survived by grandchildren, Darren Maple, Josie Howard, Brandon Klein, Amanda Belcher, Jessica Klein, Emily Hagerty, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Klein was a 1943 graduate of Huntington East High School and a member of Highlawn Baptist Church. She spent her working career in retail sales with Anderson Newcomb, Bradshaw Diehl and more than 20 years with Corbin Limited, where she received induction as an Honorary Kentucky Colonel. Visitation will be conducted on 26 March, from 10 a.m. to noon at Chapman's Mortuary, with the funeral service immediately following. Committal service will be at the mausoleum at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va.
