Marlene Roush Obituary
January 21, 1954 - April 12, 2025
MARLENE KAY ROUSH, 71, of Lavalette, WV passed away following a long illness Saturday April 12, 2025. She was born January 21, 1954, in Point Pleasant, WV to the late Leo Roush Sr. and Laura Luella Roush.
She worked in accounting for 32 years. She was an adamant supporter of the American Red Cross. In 1974, Marlene met Glenn Keesee her lifelong companion whom she loved with all her heart for over 51 years. She enjoyed writing and sending cards to family and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Roush Sr and Laura Luella Roush, stepmother Carolyn Roush, brother, Leo (Junie) Roush, sister, Nedra Cantrell, brother-in-law, Tony Rainey, sisters-in-laws, Terry Cullen and Pam Cullen.
She is survived by longtime companion, Glenn Keesee, siblings, Donnie (Connie) Roush, Joe Cullen, Mitchell Cullen, David Cullen, Teresa (Roger) Spencer, Joann Rainey, stepdaughter, Tammy Keesee, grandson, Blake Keesee, sister- in-law, Jeanne Roush. A special thank you to nurse's aide, Michelle, sibblings, Donnie and Joann. She will be missed by many family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Roger Perry officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, WV.
