MICHAEL LEE BASH

1955 - 2018

MICHAEL LEE BASH, 62, of Ceredo, W.Va., passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, W.Va. He was born November 25, 1955, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of Thelma Parsley Bash of Kenova and the late Charles "Rusty" Bash. Mike was an inspector with the WV Alcohol Beverage Control Administration for 37 years and 3 months. He was an avid sports enthusiast and a classic rock connoisseur who loved his family unconditionally. In addition to his father, Mike was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Keather and Pauline Parsley; his paternal grandparents, Gorman and Helen Bash, and one niece, Tina Hibbard. He is also survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Jamie Dawn (Christopher) Brown and Mikka Leann Bash (Ray Jordan); grandchildren Kyler Brown and Caiden and Kayleb Jordan; one very special sister, Debby (Michael) Hibbard; one niece, Lisa (Phil) Fraley; a special friend, Bonnie Lee, and a host of other family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Collins and the staff at the J. Robert Pritchard Home Dialysis unit for the exceptional care Mike received in their hands. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Rollins Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Richards officiating. Visitation will be two hours before the service on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Dock's Creek Cemetery, Kenova, W.Va.
