Nellie Nelson Obituary
NELLIE MARGARET BLEDSOE NELSON, 98, of Huntington WV, passed away on October 11, 2025. She was born December 2, 1926 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of Robert Clyde and Hester Ann Teel Bledsoe.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Nelson Sr.; brothers, Champ, Robert, Thomas and James Paul Bledsoe; sisters, Louise Nutter, Mary White, Opal Crockett and Betty Barbour.
She retired from Maidenform, also, from the State Hospital, as a pharmacy technician. A lifelong member of the Tenth Avenue Church of God, Huntington, WV.
Survivors include daughters Joselyn Hansbarger (Walter), Jennifer Viglianco (James); son Henry Warth; grandchildren, Angela Rhodes (Dave), James Viglianco, Jessica Viglianco (Aman Singh), Julianna Viglianco, Withers Hansbarger; four great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
Survivors by marriage daughter, Janice Runyon (Carl); grandchildren, Jeanetta Thomas (Richard), Jessica Clark, Carl Runyon Jr, (Deidra), Heather Fowler; thirteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Viewing is Noon to 1 p.m. at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington, WV on October 18, 2025, a 1:30 p.m. service held at Woodmere Memorial Park's Abbey of remembrance, Avondale Road, with Pastor Darrell Buttram officiating.
