PATSY KAY BLANKENSHIP CHAPMAN, 50, of Lesage, W.Va., passed away August 6, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, August 9, 2014, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will be in Templeton Cemetery. She was born May 9, 1964, a daughter of the late James Leslie and Vernie Sue Sheppard Blankenship. She is survived by her husband Darrell Lee Chapman; one daughter, Ashley Bates of Barboursville; three sons, Jason Woodard of Barboursville, J.D. Chapman of Lesage, and Jerry Chapman of Glenwood; seven sisters, Bobbie Scarberry, Susie Carter, Emmalou Edmonds, and Rena Garcia, all of Milton, Elizabeth Caldwell of Lesage, Gail Spurlock of Ona, and Donna Tucker of Hurricane; five brothers, Elmer Clagg and Wesley Clagg, both of Milton, Dale Blankenship and Dallas Blankenship, both of California, and Phillip Blankenship of Oklahoma; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton.
