Patsy Hightower Obituary

PATSY HIGHTOWER, 59 years young, was born on November 29, 1964 of Salt Rock, WV, went home to be with the Lord after a difficult battle in which she fought very hard! Patsy was always smiling and always placing those around her before herself. She is survived by a husband Edgar Hightower of 39 wonderful years; two children, a son, Allen and Staci Hightower of North Carolina and a daughter, Amanda Hightower; two grandchildren, Austin Hightower and Delilah Foster; a sister, Caroline Jackson; several nieces, and lots of friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family and seeing them smile. She loved animals and will be very missed by her fur babies Shelby, Cracker, Maci, and Oreo. Patsy brought the whole meaning to the word tough. She fought cancer three times and was very tired after the recent diagnosis. Her favorite thing to do was to go play bingo, go to the beach, and go to car shows as she made lots of friends everywhere she went. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Hightower Cemetery, Salt Rock. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
