1953 - 2024

RICK LEWIS STOLER, 70 of Barboursville, WV passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
Services will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Tim Daniels officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 - 4 p.m. prior to service time. Burial will be private for the family at Ridgelawn Memorial Park.
He was born July 2, 1953, in Huntington, WV the son of the late Maurice and Rosemary Perry Stoler. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Perry. He was a graduate of Huntington East High School and attended Marshall University. Rick was very active for many years with the Barboursville Little League Baseball and Barboursville Basketball League. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his Sunday golf time with his son, Ryan, and his many trips with his "Golf Buddies". He was employed for many years by the family business, Superior Office Services, Inc.
He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Susan Ballard Stoler, daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Derek Artrip of Ona, WV; son Ryan Stoler and Amanda of Barboursville, WV; sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Philip Turner of Jonesborough, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Rex and Debby Stoler of Huntington; grandchildren, Taylor Perry, Miles Artrip and Grayson Artrip; several nieces, nephews, numerous friends and special coworkers who were caring and supportive to the end.
