Myron "DeWayne" Daniels

Myron DeWayne Daniels, 71, of Charleston, WV, passed away March 6, 2026.

He was born on August 25, 1954, in Charleston, to David Levi Daniels and Catherine (Lea) Daniels. A 1971 graduate from East Bank High School, DeWayne earned an associate degree in business from Marshall University.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara Daniels, Vivian Daniels, Gail L. Daniels, Howard Daniels, and Reginald Daniels.

DeWayne is survived by his Son, Deion Spurlock (Demajaih and Serenity) of Charleston; Brothers, Theodore Daniels of Illinois, Melvin Daniels, Calvin Daniels, and Andre, all of Charleston; Sisters, Elaine (Will), Marnetta, and Nita; Nephews: Kavi' Haley, Chase Daniels, and Justin Pleva, all of Charleston; Nieces: Nikki, Calesha, Ashley, and Tiffany, and a host of family and friends.

Memorial service will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. on March 28, 2026, at A More Excellent Way Life Center Church, 504 Virginia Street West, Charleston, WV, with Rev. Robert Curtis Calloway and Rev. Charles Blackman officiating.
