Robert Lee Honaker

ROBERT LEE HONAKER, 90, of Barboursville, WV, passed away peacefully at home on December 3, 2025.
He was born in Huntington, WV on July 13, 1935 to Darrell Honaker and Florence May Honaker.
He graduated from Huntington High School in 1954. He was in the U.S. Air Force from 1955-1959. He served with the Huntington Police Department from 1964 until 1990.
He was married to the love of his life, Wilma Bell Honaker, from 1955 until her passing in 2014. He is survived by his two daughters, Tina Walker and Roberta Hale (Danny); grandsons, Justin Walker, Lee Hale, David Walker, and Travis Hale (Eve); and great-grandsons, Weston Hale and Gunner Justice. He is also survived by sisters, Jackie Wells (Virginia) and Olrena Rickman (Tennessee).
He was preceded in death by brother, Benjamin Honaker (CA) and sister, Doris Burgess (WV).
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, by Pastor Brady Lipscomb. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Danny Hale, Eddie Bell, Lee Hale, Travis Hale, Justin Walker and David Walker. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans Home in Barboursville or to any military and veteran related charities.
