ROBERT "BOB" PASKO

ROBERT "BOB" PASKO, 84, died Thursday, February 19, 2015, at McLeod Seacoast Medical Center. Born on May 23, 1930, in Farmington, W.Va., he was the son of the late Tony and Jenny Pasko. Mr. Pasko was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict and as a Deputy Sheriff with the Marion County Sheriff's Office, Marion County, W.Va. He retired from Tri-State Airport in Huntington, W.Va. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Mary Conaway Saban Pasko; children, Vickie Pasko Sullivan (Mark) of Ohio, Robert Pasko (Vickie) of W.Va., John Pasko (Natasha) of Florida, Nick Saban (Terry) of Alabama, Dene Saban Thompson (Leroy) of W.Va.; grandchildren Nikki Stambaugh, Mark Sullivan II (Casey), Kimberly Sullivan, Tessa Thompson (Ray Piggott), George L. Thompson, III (Missy), Judy Thompson (Bradley Myers), J.D. Thompson (Ashley), Nicholas Saban (Kelsie), Kristen Saban (Adam) and 15 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Helen Jean Pasko Kovach of Port Vue, Pa. He is predeceased by his first wife Tessie Pasko, three brothers and one sister. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Father Paul Yuenger and Tony Walker officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. Veterans Honor Guard Post 16 will conduct military graveside rites. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
