Bob was a class mate of mine (Logan High Class of 61) but our paths went different ways and I never re-connected with him until our 45th class reunion and my wife and I were very privileged to attend 2 Thundering Herd Football games as guests in his sky box. We will forever be great full.Rest in Peace my friend.

Bob & I met through our love for Firearms he sought me ought at the Gun Shows in West Palm Beach for advice and shared his hobby with me as well. He distinctly recognized my 20 years of military service and though I came from humble means he treated as an equal always. He will be missed.

Bob, Jr. was a man full of kindness and generosity. Although i haven’t seen him in years, the many tributes to him indicate he continued in this spirit to the end. My condolences to his family and friends. He will be missed.

That is such a good picture of Bob on the funeral home website. I believe that it reveals some of what I am about to say: During the latter part of the 1960's Bob and I were friends and spent a lot of time together. He was always the center of a small group; he loved to read the newspaper and provide a running commentary as he read it...sports, news, even the classified ads. The rest of us sat around, hypnotized by his daily look at our world. Bob had a gift that I have never seen in anyone else since . He could grasp the moment, crack it open like an egg, and allow the blinding light of reality to splash out. He was both extraordinary and unique, and we, his friends, just sat there and soaked it all up. We loved the man fifty years ago and we would not have been the least surprised to learn that he would leave his mark across the whole planet. May God bless and comfort his family at this time of great loss.
