Ruth Duty Obituary

RUTH FAYE DUTY, 98, of Milton, WV, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Tim Messinger. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.
She was born March 21, 1927 in Branchland, a daughter of the late Lester F. and Mary Johnson Gue. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Duty; siblings, Lester Gue, Jr., Ulysses Hurston Gue, Donald Lee Gue, Charles Gue, Glendora Lett and Hubert Gue.
She is survived by her sister, Linda Dial of Covington, VA; sister-in-law, Anna Gue of Branchland, WV; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
