Sharon Wallace Obituary

SHARON COCHRAN WALLACE, 79, of Little River, SC, was called home by her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, December 24, 2025.
She was born October 31, 1946, in Clarksburg, WV to the late Morley Tilden Cochran and Edna Ellen George Cochran. She is also preceded in death by her precious grandson, Morgen Allen Arnould, and husband of 53 years, David Allen Wallace.
She leaves behind a 3 yr. old tiny shadow of a pup who never left her side, Penny. The most compassionate daughter, Laura Arnould, who kept her grounded but encouraged her to fly. Beloved sisters, Marilyn Chapman of FL and Donna Gibson of WV. Special niece and nephew, Cheryl Bostic (Shawn, Kayla, and Derek) and Dwight Gibson (Christy and Kelsi). Brother, Roger Cochran.
She was privileged to work 33 years for the Cabell County Board of Education. She was a long standing member of Susannah Missionary Baptist Church, and since moving to SC has loved been part of the Church Family at Redemption Hill. Her main love in life was her family and especially visiting the home away from home cabin in the mountains of Pocahontas County. She was ridiculously talented in sewing, crocheting, basket weaving, canning, and most definitely genealogy. She was always the best supervisor as she always got roped into watching over one of her family's projects. She is forever a WV girl, but surely lived her best life in SC going on many adventures with her best friend Gail.
