Steven Slone Obituary
STEVEN EARL SLONE, 55, of Huntington, WV, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at home.
A celebration of life will be conducted from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2025 at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington.
Steven loved to hunt, and fish, he was an avid wood worker and a full time jokester. Steven was born January 15, 1970 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Robert and Mary (Pennington) Slone. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by, step-daughter, Carie Boggs; grandchild, Laney Hudson; brother, Terry Slone; sister, Angie Walker; and friend, Bill Howard.
Survivors include: his loving wife of 20 years, Donna Slone; daughters, Opal (Zac) Hutchinson, and Jessica Slone; son, Eric Maynard; step-son, Chase Boggs; grandchildren, Matti, Joey, Hunter, and KK; sisters, Lynn (Dan) Miller, and Donna (Kenny) Walters; brothers, Wes (Pearl) Slone, Frankie (Shannon) Slone, and Bobby Slone; friends, Phillip Maynard, Brian Chaffin, and special friend, Lee Harrel.
Steven loved spending time with his friends and family, he will be greatly missed by all.
