SUSAN HOOKS Obituary
SUSAN HOOKS, 52, of Prichard, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017, at her residence. She was born January 24, 1965, in Killeen, Texas, but was raised in Prichard, a daughter of the late Cedric and Oral Alfreda Stewart Adkins. She was a former employee with Allevard Sogefi in Prichard. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2017, at Rollins Funeral Home with Pastor Fred Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by one brother, Gordon Adkins. Survivors include her beloved husband, Ernest "Ernie" Hooks; five children, Eric Hooks, Scott Hooks, Stacy Dahler, Shaina Hooks and Sara Hooks; seven grandchildren, Zane, Aiden, Dustin and new baby boy Hooks, Shayla Dahler, Noah and Shelby Smith; two brothers, Toby Adkins and Fred Adkins; one sister, Glenna Simpkins; and numerous other family and friends. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2017, at Rollins Funeral Home, Kenova. Online expressions of sympathy may be made at www.rollinsfh.com.
