Terry L. Twichell

TERRY L. (BRUNTON) TWICHELL, 66, of Glenwood, NY passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024.
She was born August 9, 1957 in Huntington, WV a daughter of Richard Brunton of Proctorville, OH, and the late Greta Gay (Gruber) Brunton. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Tyler Twichell, and sister, Gerry Kay Brunton. Terry attended Marshal University in Huntington, WV. She worked for CILCO (California Intraocular Lens Co.) in Huntington, WV, as well as Campbell's Soup Co. in Maxton, NC, and various part-time positions in Buffalo, NY. Terry loved animals and had an array of pets, including: dogs, cats, birds, and a rabbit. With her love of animals, she dedicated some of her time volunteering at the Humane Society of Erie County. She was also an avid gardener, enjoyed needlepoint, painting and other artistic endeavors. Terry enjoyed trips to the Adirondacks and Mexico, NY, and also loved cooking meals and spending time with her family and friends. She was deeply loved and will be missed.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Eric Twichell of Glenwood, NY, whom she married in May, 1985; siblings: Sherry (John) Kyle of Barboursville, WV, Cheryl (Scott) Shuff of Proctorville, OH, Trish (Tom) Trent of Crown City, OH, Donna (Chris) Surber of South Point, OH, Richard (Sherry) Brunton II of Huntington, WV, and Janey (Fred) White of Cape Coral, FL; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on March 10, 2024 from 2-4 p.m., at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St. Springville, NY.
A private service will take place at the convenience of the family, with final interment to take place in Fayetteville Cemetery in Manlius, NY. Memorials may be made online to Save the Michaels of the World, Inc., or to the Humane Society of Erie County.
