I had the opportunity to work with Tonja at the VA hospital in Chillicothe. I made her feel welcome and we had lunch together many times. Sending prayers to the family and friends. She had moved back to WVA so lost contact with her. I'm sure she will be missed by family and her co-workers there.

My deepest sympathy to Tonja's family in this difficult time. I enjoyed working with Tonja at the Chillicothe VA. She always greeted everyone and had such a bright smile. She was a very talented leader. Her life was much too short, but a great blessing to all during her time here on earth. A heavenly home is her deserved reward.

We went through 12 years of school together and what I loved most about Tonja was that she was friends with everyone. It didnt matter if you were an athlete like her or a bookworm like myself, she treated everyone the same with kindness, respect, and her wonderful sense of humor.
I've been so incredibly sad since I heard of her passing and my thoughts and prayers are with her family and her three sisters that I know she shared a great bond with.
You will be greatly missed by many .

I'll never forget working with her at Triad and all the lunches and chats we used to have. She was truly one of a kind and always considered her a friend. She sent me a message a few weeks ago just to make sure I knew that she considered me a life long friend. She also told me not to be sad that she wasn't afraid to die. I was so blessed to have known her.

Tonja was a great friend to me! I will miss her dearly! I remember so many great stories she shared about "the Gue" girls! I know she was a loving mother because she spoke about them so much. Everything she did revolved around them! Gone way too soon! I thank God for the time we did have! Rest easy in heaven my friend! Love you!
Prayers and condolences to the family!

It always upsets me terribly when I learn that one of my former students has passed on. Tonja was one of my better ones. She was attentive, did her assignments well, always treated me with respect, and got along well with others. What more could a teacher ask? I dont know who will read this post; however, I am quite certain that her husband, three sons, and three sisters will. And when you do, please know that my words are spoken from the heart. I am thankful that I was fortunate to have had students such as your dear Tonja pass through my classroom. My son, Nathan, was one of her classmates, and he always considered Tonja to be a good friend. I sent him a text last night. He lives in North Carolina. This morning he responded to express his deep sorrow. May God bless all of you is my prayer.
