VINCENT ALOYSIUS "SAM" SHAW

VINCENT ALOYSIUS "SAM" SHAW, 84, of Guyandotte, formerly of Ona, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. He was born April 5, 1929, in Cabell County, W.Va., a son of the late James Aloysius Shaw and Mary Helen Adams Shaw. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret, Myrtle, Agnes and Ceceila; and four brothers, Denny, Leo, Johnny and Andy. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church by Pastor Paul Meadows. Burial will be in Bexfield Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to ResCare, 209 Richmond Street, Huntington, WV, 25705 or Hospice of Huntington, P.O.
