WAYNE BLEVINS Obituary
WAYNE BLEVINS, 64, of Lexington, Ky., formerly of Huntington, died May 24, 2016 in the University of Kentucky Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 by Dr. Larry Greene at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Wayne was born July 6, 1951 in Beckley, W.Va. He was the son of the late James Millard "Rock" Blevins and Cora Clark Blevins. Mr. Blevins was retired from Glaxo Smith Kline as a pharmaceutical representative; a 1969 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and a 1973 graduate of Marshall University. Wayne is survived by his wife, Jane Gracie Blevins, son; Douglas Blevins and wife Christine of Huntington, daughter; Marisa Blevins Howerton and her husband Jason of Huntington, stepdaughter; Ann Nistendirk Veinot and her husband Jason of Lexington, Ky.; sister, Teresa Blevins Cooper and her husband Gary of Advance, N.C., eight grandchildren; Connor and Mary Katherine Blevins, Haley Jones, Christopher, Aiden and Mikayla Howerton, due in September 2016, and Haley and Griffin Veinot, nephew; Jason Cooper and a niece, Rachel Cooper. It is suggested donations be made in Wayne's name to the Lymphoma And Leukemia Society. Family guestbook at www.klingelcarpenter.com.
