WILLIAM GRADY BREWER, 83, of Ona, WV passed away, Saturday, October 11, 2025 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV.
He was born June 6, 1942 in Huntington, WV the son of the late William Evans and Della Maynard Brewer. He retired with thirty-seven years of civil service as an I.R.S. Agent. He was also a fifty-two year member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a life-long leader of the Boy Scouts including The Wilderness Ranger Program. He was an avid sports enthusiast, loving basketball and baseball and especially Mingo County High School sports. He also enjoyed working in his yard and loved to garden.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Patricia Ann Jarrell Brewer of Ona, WV; two sons, Christopher David Brewer (Traci) of Dayton, OH and Brian Jeffrey Brewer (Melanie) of Cary, NC; one brother, David Brewer (Annetta) of Bridgeport, WV; four grandchildren, Abby and A.J., Breleigh and Brett.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary and Cremation Services, 1592 E. Pea Ridge Rd., Huntington, WV near Barboursville with Pastor Greg Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary and Cremation Services.

I have known Grady for many years. I just saw him at the high school reunion. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. God bless you, his family. I´m so glad to read of his involvement in the Lord´s work. Rest assured he is in heaven. I will be praying for you all. God bless you in your grief.
