I had the privilege of meeting Anne in the early 1980s. An unfortunate illness had disrupted her life and her family's life. However, inspite of the illness she helped trail blaze a new apartment program and contributed to developing a program that still helps people today. Sometimes the illness won and sometimes it didn't. I will remember her intelligence, her caring for other people and her struggle to live life and not give in. She earned my respect and it was a privilege to know her and to interact with her. I hope she has found peace and I am grateful for the fact that she enriched my life and it was an honor to know her.
