I had the privilege of meeting Anne in the early 1980s. An unfortunate illness had disrupted her life and her family's life. However, inspite of the illness she helped trail blaze a new apartment program and contributed to developing a program that still helps people today. Sometimes the illness won and sometimes it didn't. I will remember her intelligence, her caring for other people and her struggle to live life and not give in. Dear Family and Friends of Anne, I too am sad to see a dear friend go, sorry that I didn't call more often and couldn't find a ride down to see her. But I have many fond memories of visiting and eating together and going places when she had a car or I did.
