We will see her again in a much better place than this with no suffering and just joy and happiness in being together again. Larry, Paula, Tricia and Stephanie, Please know you and your families are in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. Larry, Betty was a breath of fresh air to everyone she came in contact with. She was a wonderful person and I will never forget her kindness, her laugh, and her beautiful smile. Paula, Tricia, and Stephanie, your mom was so special. I have always had so much respect for her and she would go out of her way to do what she could to help others. Every time I saw her she would ask me about my family and how we were doing. It never was about her, but about those around her. That really meant a lot to me, she cared about everyone, something we all should do in life. Your mom was so proud of everyone and everything around her, especially her kids. I am so glad she was a part of my life, both as a child and as an adult. The memories I have of her will be cherished forever. Your dad will need you now more than ever, just as you will need your dad more now than ever. You have a wonderful family and great friends who surround you and are there if you need them. Be strong and know we will all see her again someday, free from pain and suffering. I love you all very much,

Larry & family,

So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. Just know she is now at peace and no longer suffering. What a beautiful lady...from the time I first met you guys at Mt. Pulaski ballgames way back when I was a little girl til the last time I saw Betty she never aged. She looked just the same.

Just wanted to say thanks too for the Illini tickets that you gave Troy when you were unable to go while Betty was sick. We took Logan and he had never sat so close before. He was in basketball heaven. We even got to see Michael Jordan at that game. It will always be a good memory that we'll cherish.

We will continue to pray for your family as you grieve. God bless you all.

Larry and girls,
I am so sorry for your loss. I was going through treatment last fall and sat many times with Betty while she was having hers. She was so encouraging and brought me so much comfort. Knowing Betty since I was a child, she seemed to never age! She was always so beautiful! I am grateful that our paths crossed again this past year. Please know our prayers are with you all!

Larry, Paula, Tricia, Stephanie and family - my heart is breaking with the loss of Betty. We are so lucky to have had her in our family and will miss her so much. She was such a great part of our lives and we did not have enough time together. Now we will have to fill the emptiness with all of our wonderful memories. She is now happy, healthy and her pain is gone forever. With God's grace, we will all join her one day but until then, lean on his love to get you thru the lonely times. Sorry we could not be there with you but you will forever be in our thoughts and prayers. We love you and hope to see you soon.

Larry, So many good memories of spending time w/Betty Jean as pre-teens in Pawnee. Overnights, bike rides, croquet, etc,. etc. She was beautiful, kind, fun, smart, and so capable in many areas then and continued exactly like that as an adult.
