Isaac Fuller Obituary

DECATUR -- Isaac R. Fuller, 73, of Decatur departed this life Friday (Sept. 5, 2003) in his home.

Services will be noon Friday in Church of the Living God Temple 1 with visitation two hours before services. Walker Funeral Service and Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Fuller was born Sept. 16, 1929, in Brownsville, Tenn., the son of Charlie and Eva Fuller. He was a very, very hard worker and always provided for his family. He worked at Wagner Castings Co. for more 34 years, The Trianlge House and Mr. Curry's Fish Market, where he enjoyed working. Upon moving to Decatur more than 48 years ago, he met his beloved wife of 36 years, Gloria Allston, and to this union 12 children were raised.

He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Deborah (Charles) Williams, Patricia Plato, Edith (Samuel) Fakes, Lusterella (John) Goodman, Ralph Terry Allston, Freda (Kenny) Allston and Lisa (Frank) Allston, all of Decatur; Isaac Allston of Lincoln; Brian Fuller of Springfield; Inette (Erie) Shannon of Lincoln; brothers, Enis (Marie) Fuller and Jimmy (Earline) Fuller, both of Decatur; L.P. Fuller of Milwaukee, Wis.; sister, Helen Jones of Decatur; a host of relatives, friends, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sons, Herbert Stanley Allston and Fred Wayne Allston; sisters, Anno Walker and Oma Green; granddaughters, Krisha Fuller and Sheila Allston; great-grandchildren, Alena and Noah Fryer.
