I am Suzanne Lashmet's husband, Ahmad Montazer. I have met and joined this wonderful family over 40 years ago. Uncle pat was a very good and proud man. We lived in California and now reside in Maryland. Every time we travelled to Springfield to visit Reg and Liz Lashmet (My in-Laws), and my sisters-in-law occasionally we would have the opportunity to visit Uncle Pat, Aunt Muffet and Tim Fyke's family. They always greeted us with grace and kindness. He was always kind to me, Suzanna and our children, Laleh, Jaleh and Kaveh. Last time that I saw Uncle Pat was when Uncle Pat and his fellow Korean War veterans from Illinois were visiting WWII Veterans Memorial with Cousin Sean. Suzanne and I met them in DC. He was very glad to see us and of course we enjoyed his and Sean's company for short precious joyful period of time. Their group was to visit other locations. Uncle Pat was alway happy and smiling. His pleasant sense of humor was well known to all. Uncle pat was a great husband, a great father and a great grand father to many beautiful grand kids. We will all miss him dearly. May Uncle Pat rest in peace for ever and ever.

Coach was friends with my father who passed in 2016 Elmer (Butch) Highland I meet him from going into Curly's and having drinks with my dad. I would love to listen to all of the stories they would all tell. They also loved to tell jokes never a dual moment with the crew at Curly's. He will be missed.

I never met Pat Lashmet but heard so many people talk about him being an awesome athlete. Winchester High School was blessed! I also remember his mother.

Pat was a very good man. Always happy, always laughing. He loved people and was always a Christian. He was so proud of his family and loved those occasions when he could be with them. Never knew a stranger. He would give you the shirt off his back.

To Phoebe and Pat's wonderful families! John and I want to extend our sincere condolences
We were so happy to have shared several trips to Chicago to spend the weekend with the Cullison's. We moved to Bradenton Florida and y'all came down and stayed at the Norfolk Southern "Layby". Thank you for sharing and the privilege to meet Coach.
