DECATUR - Lindsey Eaton, 23, of Decatur, IL, died Friday, August 5, 2011. Memorial services will be 5:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 10, 2011, with visitation to follow the services until 7:00 P.M at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL. Inurnment will be at Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown, IL at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Benefit Fund for Cindy & Lindsey Eaton, c/o Land of Lincoln Credit Union. Lindsey was born March 19, 1988 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Doug and Cindy L. Eaton. She was a 2006 graduate of Sangamon Valley High School and worked for the YMCA as a Daycare Assistant Teacher. She is survived by her father Doug (Sue) Eaton of Elizabethtown, IL; sisters Jenny (Mike) DeWeese and Casey Eaton, all of Decatur, IL; grandparents Norma "Nanny" Eaton of Decatur, IL; aunt Judy and uncle Bob, uncle Harry and aunt Di, aunt Dee Dee and Scott, aunt Brenda and Dan, uncle Mike and aunt Mary, uncle Jim and aunt Courtney; many cousins and loving nieces Cailey, Maddy and Claira, and her pride and joys Minnie, Prissy, Baby & Toby. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Harry & Alura Pridemore, and Grandma Roderick & Gail Eaton. Condolences may be left to the family at www.brintlingerandearl.com. Lindsey was my daughters teacher for 2 years at the Y and we loved her. Such a tragic sort ending to a young beautiful life. Praying for your family and friends. She will be remembered and missed, thank you for all you did and being such a special part of my daughters life.
