Mary LeFebvre Obituary

SULLIVAN - Mary Ellen LeFebvre died at 10:05 a.m. in her home in Sullivan on Saturday, August 23, 2008. She was 65. There will be no services. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association. Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan is in charge of arrangements. Condolences to the family may be sent to reedfuneralhome.net. Mary was born June 19, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Gordon B. And Harriett C. Johnson Schultz. She grew up in Olivia, Minnesota. She was educated at the University of Minnesota, where she met Eugene Allen LeFebvre. The two married on August 26, 1966 in Watertown, South Dakota. Shortly afterward, the two settled in Carterville, Illinois, where they raised a family and Mary worked as a rehabilitation specialist. Mary retired at age 51 and began her long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Mary is survived by her husband, her three siblings; Diana Westrom of Chatfield, Minnesota, Donald Schultz of Eagan, Minnesota, and Craig Schultz of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin; and her children, Ann-Marie Shapiro and Chuck LeFebvre, who both live in the area. My Dearest Gene,
I am so sorry to hear of the death of Mary. She is at peace now with now more pain and no more sickness. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I hope that you will find peace and remember the good memories that the two of you have shared. I miss seeing you and will stop by sometime to visit when you feel you are up to it. I have a book for you about dogs that i picked up and thought you would find interesting. Hug your puppies and remember the love we all have for you.
